Our thanks to Avril Simms and friends of Turkey's Strays/Forest Dog rescue for providing this photograph of Kestane (Chestnut). Kestane is very young and suffering from severe mange but she is getting better with treatment from funds raised in the UK for her care. Kestane's confidence is growing and she is much loved by those who feed her twice daily and she has also been spayed...but Kestane is still a stray so she will never really be safe.
