SEND IN THE ANGELS

Stop backyard breeding photo stopbackyardbreeding_zps36c9dbb4.jpg

A song to raise awareness of the need to end backyard breeding and puppy farming, inspired by the angels who rescue and care for the dogs and puppies caught in a vicious cycle of greed for profit - of which our canine friends are the victims, day in, day out.

Some dogs used for breeding in puppy farms or by unscrupulous breeders, suffer for the whole of their sad and often painful and miserable lives.

'Send in the Angels'

You came in, little wagtail girl
Full of high hopes n' dreams you never seen
But hope exist...
Belly full of babies, far too much for such a young one
Bred too hard and that's how you lived

You're no threat but the law ain't your friend
And nobody cares who picks up the pieces again...
13 pups and some lost on the way
Some will never survive the bastards who breed them to pay

And we're all picking up the pieces of their mistakes
There's little lives here in the balance every day
The overbreeding is the work of cruel shame
Send in the angels, send in the angels, send them your way...

Sophie's world is full of pain
And full of loss and heartache
What do you say?
She's been found oh don't cry for her
But cry for the others waiting, they must be heard...
For the lost the weak and the brave
The ones who are bred for the money
They must be saved...

We're all picking up the pieces of their mistakes
There's little lives here in the balance every day
The overbreeding is the work of cruel shame
Send in the angels, send in the angels, send them your way...
Cos Sophie's life is full of hurt and full of pain
She may pull through if someone finds her in the rain
She could have suffered all her life and all in vain
They sent in the angels, sent in the angels, sent them her way...

Cos Sophie's life is full of hurt and full of pain
She may pull through if someone finds her in the rain
She could have suffered all her life and all in vain
But they sent in the angels, sent in the angels, sent them her way...
They sent in the angels, sent in the angels, sent them her way...
They sent in the angels, sent in the angels...
Sent them her way!
Send them our way!!
